At one point in time I had a Big Green Egg, a Masterbuilt smoker, a charcoal Weber grill & a small Traeger pellet. I have actually used 3 of the 4 at one time. I recently got married & had my eye on the Rec-Tec Bull. I decided to sell the Egg, the traeger and the smoker ( small patio). I kept the Weber cuz sometimes you need that charcoal flavor. I have to say that I am in love with my new Bull. I plan on smoking my Ham with a mustard, brown sugar & cherry coke glaze. I am also putting a turkey in it this year using the traeger recipe for the orange-burbon brined turkey. Question I would like to know the answer, I am brining, injecting with a creole butter, should I put a tray with some liquid in the Bull for more moisture? A pan will not fit under it would have to be on the side. Thank you in advance! Happy grilling from San Antonio!

Congrats on the new Bull. I have the RecTec Mini and love it. In my opinion, if you are brining, and injecting, I don't see the need for extra moisture. BTW, welcome to the forum. Make sure to post pics of your cooks.
