I've been smoking for ~20 years, done and seen this and that, learned a lot, yes, fine for me. But reading this board keeps showing me how much I don't know about operating many types of smokers. I can advise on running an offset or a Weber, but I've never even seen someone operate any kind of pellet rig. I have no idea how to operate a Big Green Egg or a kamado type smoker.
Newbies come here and ask basic questions, and I can welcome them but sometimes I can't advise them because I know nothing about the behavior of their rig.
The funny thing about blind spots is, you don't see them. What gaps in your smoking experience have been filled by reading material here?
