Hey all! So we are down to one duck and chicken. We have more to add to the flock here soon. A few ducks and some chicks… Just a bit too soon yet to put them outside.


But here’s what the two have laid lately…. Duck is white/cream colored and chicken is the brown/tan.

Ha, now a days I guess so. Who would have known eggs would be a thing?

It’s kinda like in the movies in a dark alley and the guy with a trench coat says… “You looking for this?! Cash only!” It used to be illegal stuff… now he whips open half his coat with eggs in there!

Thanks Eric, she is laying like crazy… no complaints here… I love duck eggs. Chicken eggs are a second… Turkey eggs sound intriguing!

Love duck eggs, too.
Ducks are more seasonally driven than chickens. Leave her a few to grow the brood. Well assuming you have a drake that needs to go to the stew pot now that his services are not required.

Our chickens have been all over the place last couple weeks, one day it's 2 eggs, the next maybe 6 or 7. We got people wanting to buy eggs like crazy this year. You gotta be discrete & not tell to many people lol. I sold a dozen the other day and thought, " welp, I'm a gangster now"
