I bought and modified this Innovative Arms M&P 15-22 Suppressed just for the purpose of hunting rattlesnakes. And I still can't find them. 😭

Head out east a ways in the spring/summer for rattlesnakes. Most of the plains is private land, but there are parcels of public land. I think you can get a map through CPW that shows the public land and should be posted as such. You could also knock a few doors and ask if the have some problem rattlesnake areas that you could help them out with. Just make sure to wear some knee high snake boots.

Hey Hannah, I know we’ve never really chatted much! But lift up your head girl, you have this!

I was in an auto accident last August and have never truly been me since. Concussions suck!

So in a way, I get where you are coming from: Life can be hard, but if we stick together… we can support each other thru the hard times.

This thread is about you, not me…

I sure hope you’re healing up well, best wishes for a quick recovery!

BTW, will send some pics tomorrow. We have a Pomchi named Buster who’s a pain in the butt. And a little dog we inherited when my MIL passed:: want to say a cross between a mini Dobie and Chihuahua… Another PITA! Then we have Smalls “named off the Sandlot” as a rescue dog he kept stepping on the wife’s toes to where she said “Ouch, your killing me Smalls”.

Hence we have a Pitbull/heeler rescue dog named Smalls
Pomchi that’s a PITA named Buster
Mini Dobie/ chihuahua named Rusty! PITA

So we live in SE ID, I swear if a bug farts in Kentucky.. Rusty hears it! Just sayin! 😂

Thanks Rafter. Take it easy with that TBI/Concussion. Those are no fun.

Thank you Hannah, it’s surely been a struggle. But, I am a hard headed ol redneck… so it’ll be good.

I wanted to send you some pics I told you of yesterday.

First is Buster… I call him Buster Brown. He’s a stubborned little cus… but he can also be sweet. I love the little guy! But he tries my patients some days.

Next is Smalls… or as I call him “Malies” a pit/heeler mix rescue dog. We have had him for almost eight years now. I do not know what happened to him, but he at times can still be timid. We have tried our best to help him… and he has come out of his shell a lot… but he still has struggles… we try our best to help him thru it… he is such a good pup…

Then there’s Rusty… or as I him Rustace, Rustoliam or Rusty Shackleford (King of the Hill) fans will get that. He’s was in the shelter with Smalls and my MIL adopted him. When she was getting sick, she asked if we would make sure he was taken care of. So, we just took him in and he’s been with us since. He can be a handful, but he is just a part of the fam. He’s hard to get a pic of as he’s always bouncing around.

Then there is Jethro… long story short… I work at a place we have a bus stop. Got back to my car with a kitten crawling up my leg as it was freezing fog… very cold. Next thing I knew, he was heading home with me!

Hit reply before saying… hope you are healing up well. We are a fam here, if you need anything… don’t hesitate to ask.

Justin

2 weeks ago (4 days after surgery)

Yesterday after soaking the elbow in Aveeno oatmeal soap for a half an hour (and antibiotic ointment applied after I dried my arm off).

Looks much better, though it also looks like you have a bit more to go. Does it still itch? Pretty sure if I had something like that I would have taken a belt sander to my arm to get rid of it. Probably not a good idea but I hate having anything that causes me to itch.

Contact dermatitis from the surgical wash. Appears they used super glue to close the wound. Was the surgeon lazy or trying to minimize your scaring? Scars are tattoos with better stories.
Happy you are healing. It will take a long time for the dermatitis to disappear.
Hope you get your shifting arm back in gear soon

Keep forgetting to add my meat shot

This is from my first time pastrami tri-tip in December. I did another batch this year, but hard to take photos from gloved hands. My wife has been happily eating it. I'm a low salt cure.
Shared with friends and Mary is a picky eater. She loved it.

Not much. The incision itself does a little but the rest of my arm doesn't.

Well the dermatitis appears to have reduced by 90% so that's a positive sign.

I'm not sure about the surgeon.
