Hi everyone,

I’m Abrish, and I recently dived back into the world of smoking after getting my hands on a used Bradley smoker. I’ve always enjoyed experimenting with different cooking methods, and while my Traeger pellet grill is great for grilling, it doesn’t quite deliver the smoky flavors I’m after without additional tools.

My brother’s been a Bradley fan for years, so when I spotted a deal on a used one, I couldn’t resist. Being a retired engineer, I love figuring out how things work and finding ways to make them better. I’ve already made a few upgrades to my Bradley—like improving the heating element for better temperature control during winter smoking. I even designed a mold to create my own wood pucks, saving money and expanding my flavor options.

I’m here to learn, share ideas, and swap tips with fellow smoking enthusiasts. If anyone’s curious about my mods or has their own tricks to share, I’m all ears!

You sound like you'll fit in around here, lol. Welcome!
I'm sure many folks would love to see your puck mold and process when you have a chance.
