Husband and wife team from Texas

Hello there my husband and I are semi newby smokers from North Texas. We just competed in our second competition this past weekend (which we also put on for a friend who passed away last year). We use a custom smoker that my late grandfather built and we refurbished. I'm looking forward to learning new tips and tricks to help us out on our cooking and competition journey.

We did this competition with my husband's brother on the team too because we knew we would be busy doing other things since it was our event. His brisket got 3rd place.
