Nic and Pete went fishing yesterday… Nic was setting on the bank… Pete was going thru the brush to get to his spot… heard something… I’ve always told him if you hear a noise in the brush… back down, listen and observe!


He came within 20’ of a Mountain Lion! Fortunately, he has listened to his old man over the years… and knew what to do! Not that I have all answers… but glad he’s ok.

I noticed that the moon was orange here last night. I assume from the wildfire smoke.

Last day in Canada today and was fortunate enough to catch this 29 inch Walleye!
The last two days was phenomenal with our boat catching 90 plus Walleyes
