Hey Guys....Im new to the forum. Im Retired from ONCOR Electric Delivery /Luminant Power. I Live in Red Oak Texas...started with a Brinkman electric smoker....Then my wife bought me a Masterbuilt 40 Electric smoker which I love !! Ive smoked Chickens..PorkButts...Ribs
Briskets...Prime Rib roasts..
its fun...but cleanup is kinda tuff.
Im probably making it tuff on myself though cause im a clean freak when it comes to cooking. I take all the racks and rails out, drip pan, bottom pan..soak em scrubbem and run em through the dish washer. i use vinegar...and spray the interior and door and use a scotchbrite pad on everything...rinse well..dry it at 265 for anout an hour...is this wxcessive ? Thanks. Glad to be here.
