I've mad this pulled pork before. I let the drippings drip into a pan of shallow apple juice and then when I wrapped by pork I sat it in the juice to finish smoking. It came out amazing. I was thinking of doing this again but I want to make a sauce to go with it.

How would you guys complement this? I don't know which direction to take.

First off, I love your apple juice method! IMO apple juice compliments pulled pork very well.

Personally, I like Jeff's original sauce recipe on PP. I do modify it slightly for pork with a little more sweet...via some honey and/or maple syrup. If you don't know, Jeff is the owner and boss administrator of these forums, and he sells his recipes to help fund the site. There's a link around here somewhere where you can order his stuff.

Red so you're talking about his recipe that has only 1 rub and 1 sauce recipe?

It's his original BBQ recipe, which I think you can buy separately, or as a bundle with his rub recipes. I've tried lots of sauce recipes through the years, but haven't ever found one I like as good as Jeff's.

The link to the sauce recipe:
