how to delete posts?

There was a post someone was trying to delete and they asked how. I went to one of my old posts and tried to delete it. Could not figure it out. Any ideas no big deal just got me wonderin.

At the bottom of your post click on the edit button. From the next screen you can select the delete option.

The message you deleted wasn't the message that said you just deleted a message was it?

The one I tried to delete did ot have this option. The one I just deleted did.I think I miss read what he wanted to do he wanted to remove a thread I bet. The last post I tried to delete was from an old thread I started. Coud be that is why I coul not delete it. Oh well just wonderin.

When you delete a post it doesn't remove it from the thread, what you end up with is the message "This message has been deleted by___________". It takes a Moderator or an Administrator to physically remove the thread from the thread. If you find that you've posted a thread twice or need to delete a post and you are unable too, send a PM to Dutch or Monty and we'll "get 'er done".
