I have a Chargriller Smokin Pro that is more than several years old. Every year, I have to take it apart, sand it down inside and out and repaint using High temp rustoleum.

I just reordered a new charcoal pan, grates, etc to rebuild this grill. My spring repaints of this grill have gotten old! How do you prevent your grills from rusting like this?

I am not sure you can. There has been posts about Seasoning inside and out like Cast Iron but I don't recall any proof positive successful results...JJ

I paint my FB at the first of every year. That's where I have my rust. The outside of my CC is usually OK. I never paint the inside of anything because the CC stays well seasoned and I don't know if paint would ever stay on the inside of a FB. I use Rustoleum 1200* paint.
