Melt butter, add other ingredients, bring to a boil then simmer for ~30 minutes, stirring occasionally.  


NOTE: This sauce is designed for smoked wings.  Using the "hot wing sauce" as a baste ~1-1 1/2 hours before the wings are done (I do wings for ~2 1/2 hours at 275-300f) will result in a "mild" hot wing.  Quick basting with the hot wing sauce again when the wings come out produces a "medium" hot wing.  Basting in the hotter wing sauce during and at the end results in a "hot wing".  

Disclaimer - The "mild/medium/hot" are based on my heat tolerances, ymmv.
