Hometown tragedy

There was a highschool graduation party at a local Portuguese club and the stairs collapsed killing a 15 year old teenage girl and severely injuring 3 others.

You never think things like this will happen in your hometown it's only something you see on the news in some town you've never heard of.

I know some of the names involved but didn't know these people personally just in passing.I knew this club well and sat on those stairs more times than I can count.

I truly feel for the family of that young girl.

So sad and these types of tragedies seem to happen around graduation time.
We just had 2 scensless killings in my area.

Graduations around her have ended with two people in the hospital after a shooting and another one with four young "men" looking at charges in a separate graduation shooting. Luckily those idiots couldn't hit the broad side of a barn apparently. Happened about a mile from where I used to work. Just sad.
