If you are a fan of ranch dressing then you will love this stuff.

I was watching an Adam Witt vid on how to make this and had to give it a try. I changed it just a little bit.

Heavy Cream 1 cup
Butter Milk 1/4 cup
Mayo 1/2 cup
Lemon 1 squeezed
Garlic 1 clove chopped super fine
Chives about 30 finely chopped
Dill 3 TBLS worth finely chopped
Onion Powder 2 TBLS
SPG - 2 TBLS
MSG - 1 Ts

Mix the heavy cream and butter then let the container sit on the counter covered with a paper towel for 24 to 48 hours.

Mix everything else the next day and refrigerate at least 4 hours before using.

You can skip this first part and just use sour cream but I prefer this way.

This taste so much better than anything in a bottle or can. It is like top end restaurant dressing.

1Ts MSG

i sure hope that means 1 teaspoon. I mention that because I've always known

1T to be tablespoon (uppercase T) and

1t to be teaspoon (lowercase t).
I have seen it all different ways.

I thought I made it pretty obvious.
TBLS - Tablespoon
Ts - Teaspoon

I did something I have never tried but see a lot online was to have ranch on pizza. It was pretty good but just overtakes the taste of the pizza.

I will be giving this a try sometime soon! Quick question on skipping the first part, is that not using the heavy cream and butter milk AND not letting the sour cream on the counter for one to two days? If so that would make this a much quicker time to get to the goodness.

Exactly. I tried both and the buttermilk version tastes better but takes a little longer to make.
