Homade Lump Charcoal

I thought this was cool. Too involved for me. I but some of you nuts out there will try it. I won't until my kroger stops selling lump 5$ a bag.

Thanks for the post jmedic. That's very interesting. I'm with you though. $5 per bag seems worth it. I've got enough to figure out in trying to perfect the meat I smoke. Let alone, trying to figure out how to make my own lump to smoke it with.
