Ill buy the barrel tools or possibly tools for making or maintaining wagon wheels. The one on the left i looked up, it came up a few times as a pin hammer of a Wheelwright.

Pretty cool, are you gonna try and restore them?

I don’t know if restore is the proper term, but I will definitely clean them up and display them. They’re more family heirlooms. My house is turning into a museum.

And for anyone who remembers my old wood cook stove post I was gonna grab that this weekend, but it was in really poor shape. It had a lot of cracks you couldn’t see in the pictures and I knew it wasn’t usable without a lot of work.

I'VE HAD A HAND AX MADE BY PLUMB LOOKS IDENTICAL TO THAT, HAD IT FOR WELL OVER FIFTY YEARS NOW. USED IT A LOT ON THE REMO OF A OLD CHOCOLATE FACTORY TO CHOP OUT THE BOTTOMS OF OLD HERRINGBONE BLOCKING THAT PROTRUDED BELOW THE BOTTOM OF FLOOR JOISTS. BLADE FILES SHARP ON JUST ONE SIDE. USED IT FOR SPLITS ON MY OFFSET, BEEN SITTING OUTSIDE FOR A FEW YEARS NOW. RAY
