Purchased the half-butt roast, about 4.5 pounds.  Rubbed with yellow mustard and Head Country original seasoning, and put it into the Weber at 11:00 a.m.  One hour into the smoke I started a spray of apple juice every hour until about 3:00 p.m., when it reached 150 degrees internal temp; that's when I covered it with foil.  At 5:00 p.m., it reached 170 degrees; within 30 minutes it was at 175, and stayed there until 7:30 p.m.  I took it out of the foil, and put it over the coals for 30 minutes to firm up the crust a bit.  Grill temp ranged from 210 to 250 throughout.  I found that I started with way too much charcoal, as my temps built too high and I couldn't get them down.  I thinned out the briquettes, and added a little back in about every hour or so.

Flavor had just a hint of hickory smoke, as I used a few chips in the coals early.  The Head Country seasoning is mostly paprika, red pepper, and garlic salt for just a little kick.  The meat pulled off the bone fairly easy, and slicing it almost wasn't necessary; it was just shy of that "fall off the bone" consistency.  No finishing sauce was needed, as the meat was moist and tender.  I couldn't help but put a little drizzle of "Sweet Baby Ray's" on my samiches though...

I was intent on using the little briquette pans that came with the Weber, but I'm rethinking that.  They work great for grilling when using indirect heat, but I may need to go back and read up on alternative ways to set up my smoke.  Overall a good effort I think, and Mama thinks so, but I'm not giving up on that "pulling" quality.  I believe my main issue was I planned the meal on the smoke, not planning the smoke for the meal.
 
Yeah, got those several years ago for Christmas.  Funny thing is that they're guaranteed for a lifetime just like the tools.
