Awesome looking wieners Shoney...That just sounds weird!!

How'd those sheep casings work for you?

I had a terrible time with the last batch of sheep casings
Yea, there was a whole conversation between my wife and my daughters about me taking pictures of my wiener and posting pictures on FaceBook….. It was not good…..Then my wife has to call the sister in laws and tell them about me taking pictures and posting them……Now they all think I’m a pervert too……….My youngest daughters said that they didn’t think I should not be posting “THOSES” kinds of pictures, the other agreed. Then they both gave me a speech about how pictures on the Internet are forever and I need to think twice about posting pictures like that.......I gave them this speech several years back so it was just some revenge from then.......  The sister in law texted me and said that she would bail me out if I needed her to…..but I had to send her some hot-dogs first to see if it would be worth bailing out………What did I get myself into???

By the way, This was my first experience with sheep's casings, they were very and I mean very tender...They came loaded on a sleeve that keep them untangled and easy to slide on the tube....Very nice !!!!!!……  I tried to twist them and they busted open, so I just tied them with a string to form my hot-dogs……Not the easiest casings I've used….but I will be using them again, practice makes perfect, Right ???? .....Natural casings are the only way to go, for me at least……..  ShoneyBoy

Great Job ShoneyBoy Glad to hear they came out so good for your first attempt.

Looks great. Glad to hear that you are satisfied with your wieners. :sausage:

Just ordered some of these casings.  Can't wait to try this out.

ShoneyBoy - Is there anything you would do different next time?
