HELP...Need to guestimate how much brisket I need.

I have a cookout with 50-60 people this weekend. We are having about 50-60 drumstick, 100 wings and I am trying to figure out how much brisket I need? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I would think 8 oz per person if you didn't have the other items. As such 4 oz per person would be reasonable. I don't think you could go lower than that since everyone will want a good taste of that delicious brisket.

As far as briskets, there's going to be fat and shrinkage so based on 4 - 8 oz per person, that's 30 to 40 lbs. So far you have one drum and two wings per person.

With one drumstick and less than two wings per person I'd say you'll need around thirty pounds of brisket, at least you will if your friends are as fat as mine. Oh and I hope you have plenty of sides.

Exactly. I personally would lean toward 40# of raw un-trimmed brisket. Figure 4 large packer briskets. I am betting that in addition to the wings and drums there will be other sides and salads. You can always do 5 full packers and be sure you won't run out and have left overs. I'm one to not cut it too close and like to have more than needed. To be sure the brisket will be the star
