HELP!! MY TURKEY CAUSED A GREASE FIE.. WILL IT STILL TASTE GOOD?

Hi everyone ok so 1 hour into the cook time the grease from the turkey started dripping and landed on the fire box.. I took it out but it smells weird. Did I mess up the turkey or will it be ok if I finish it in the oven

Should be ok. Worst case the Skin will be off flavored. Taste and peel it if necessary then slice. Gravy covers a myriad of flubs...JJ
