Do remember that sometimes PT is short for pain and torture. Experienced that years ago. After the fact is really good therapy.

Very sorry to read this. Hope you can get back to where you were before the fall. I know my recent breaks and surgeries resulted in a longer than I wanted recovery. It can be tough, stay the course. It wont last forever.

I have always advocated for PT but never followed through to my detriment. Now I can' t get out of bed without a limp. Keep up with it. best of luck to you, stay strong.

PT can make a thing that is miserable, manageable. I have not missed a single day of doing my 5 mins of PT exercises since my back surgery. That was July 12, 2018. It is very stiff & sore when I wake up that I couldn't imagine trying to go through the day if I didn't do it.

That you all for the kind words. PT isn't any fun for sure. Still having a lot of pain in that hip don't know why. I can walk using the walker as long as it's not to far. Have a wheelchair for those longer walks. Steps still aren't any fun and I don't really trust myself on them. Have gotten into the suburban once and yesterday was a no go on the steps just to much pain. We've have pretty much decided to hire a transport company to take me home hopefully. They will come here and pick me up and they promise to get me into the house and they know about the steps At least I can be transported in a wheelchair now. Appointment with the surgeon on Monday we'll see what he says.
