how can I by pass this till new one gets here do not want burger to go to waste

Thanks in advance   Steve

You could probably cut a paper plate just under the size of the plunger, lay it over the meat. It should keep the hole well sealed, and will stay down when you pull the plunger up. Pull it out by hand to refill. Never tried it but it should work.

All you need is a small bolt 1/8 or 3/16th and a flat washer with a nut on top ... should work just fine

Thanks I was also thinking just a piece of chees cloth held in by the O ring on the plunger ????
