hello there, kinda new to smoking.

Howdy my name is James.
Im kinda new to smoking,I borrowed my neighbors electronic smoker a few times (Boston butt twice).Im part of a recreational combat group ( live action role playing, sca type stuff) and I want to start smoking for the camp outs our group does to basically cut out the middle guy that we sometimes hire.I plan on spending about a good $500 on a homemade smoker trailer.I already signed up for the ebook thing.
I mostly am here to look up info on cooking for large groups of people and on the process of making my own smoker for large groups of people.
