Hello & Happy Thanksgiving

Hi there from the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota!
Ever since I was a little girl, my dad smoked a turkey for Thanksgiving. He passed away in 2003 and I continued the tradition at my house. Of course I think he had it easier doing this in Florida than I do in South Dakota as there ALWAYS seems to be at least 20 mph winds on Thanksgiving in SD, lol.
I am looking to expand my smoking skills and try new meats. I am very glad I found this board! :-)
Today we again have high winds but last year I learned to move the smoker into our shed (it has vents) which helps a bit.

Hi all. new hear . I live is Sooke British Columbia Canada.  I have been smoking for about a year now and just found this site, I use a digital Bradley to smoke and do like it. Im hear to learn what ever I can about smoking thx. Chucker
