Greetings fellow smokers. I have what's known as COS... Char-griller with the side box. I've done quite well with compared to other peoples stories.

Anywho I look forward to learning more about the art of meat,

welcome, from Maryland, I have a char griller side firebox also, have you made any mods?
I've pulled out the bun rack, installed a 3" dryer vent host from stack to vent at grill level, popped a couple of holes to insert my probes through the side, and I've made a charcoal box out of expanded steel. I've done some awesome smokes with it.

No I haven't done any mods. Do you have any pictures of yours?

Welcome to the site, I started on a char griller duo. I got tired of babysitting it so I bought a WSM. I did get some mighty good food off it.
