Hello yall,

I've been in and out of this site for some time and figured it was bout time I joined. I love the challenge of smoking and cooking on a grill of any sort. My goal is to build my own smoker. I've been using a Smokin Tex for almost 9 years and it has and still serves me well, but as with everything else, I want bigger. But bigger cost MUCH more! So I'm looking for ideas and suggestions. I"ve seen a lot of inputs from all around, so hopefully I can use some of the wisdom departed here and in return give back on subjects that I'm familiar with. Looking forward to talking to you all. Just gotta find myself a suitable freezer to start with. Once again, thanks for this site!!

Welcome , Qsligh. Hope you stay a while and being in the State where a lot of Historical Pig Pulls were done , you should do well.

Have fun and send Q-view whenever possible. We want to see.

Ask the guys on the Building section and they will guide you to an amazing build.
