Hi. I live in a little place called Gooderham, Ontario. We have about 40 acres and 1/2 mile of lakefront. Except for the dead of winter, we live in a log cabin built in the lake (sort of a real 'lakehouse' grin). We maintain the property as a managed forest and heat mostly with deadfall (that takes about 5 bush cords a year so we are always busy) the nice thing about wood it that it heats you so many times, felling, sawing, splitting, stacking, carrying, and (finally) burning.

Here is a gallery of images from in and around our home: http://www.flickr.com/photos/parquin/sets/72157594492013803/

My wife and I are mostly retired although I do a lot of photography and music and we like to entertain. We grill and have had a little smoker for a long timebut recently gave it away ang got a Bradley 4 rack smoker which we are excited about

So, cheers all

Mike
