 hi all..

        new to forum..been BBQing all my life ,but now attempting to build my 1st smoker..i am a accomplished welder/fabricator..just not sure of the basics,as far as direct flow reverse flow..ect.

    was hoping someone could explain all this or point me in the direction where i can find the info..

    i already have a propane tank that ill be using,its a 300 lb upright tank. its dimesions are approx 4.5 feet tall X 3.5 in diameter..is this too large..if so i can always get a smaller tank.

      any help would be greatly appreciated
