Hello from NC

Hi everybody.

I am new to the vertical smoker world, but I have been using a Char-Griller with side smoker box as my charcoal grill for about 6 years. Made some delicious ribs using the side smoker box.

I just purchased a Masterbuilt XL propane smoker & hope to get it seasoned this weekend.

I live in Albemarle, NC. It is a little town about 45 mins east of Charlotte.

I have been lurking on the site for about a week reading & absorbing as much as I can.
