Good afternoon everyone,
Just wanted to check in here and thank you all for giving us smokers for an outlet to share information. I have been a BBQ enthusiast for quite sometime and have finally moved to the big league with my new Old Country Brazos DLX. With that being said, I thought it would be easy to hop online and find some smoking wood without having to by boxes from stores like Academy, but that has not been the case. Anyways, I am excited that I found this group and I am looking forward to soaking up any and all knowledge available here and willing to help anyway that I can!

I was able to hook up with a wood supplier to BBQ restaurants in Texas for Pecan, Mesquite, Post Oak, and Hickory. I have to still buy my fruit and alder woods online.
