Hey there! My husband and I are recently married, and got a smoker box for a wedding present. Score! We figured it would be a great jumping off point to give us some experience before we purchase a large smoker. We are obviously new to the smoker world. :) I plan on trying my hand at it today. I bought a 4.41 lb. boneless turkey breast, and from what I've read, indirect heat grilling combined with the smoker box is the way to go. I am going to inject it with some lemon juice and spices prior, and maybe throw a rub on it. Are we on the right track? Any thought/suggestions are appreciated! Forgot to add in my initial post, my name is Toni and my husband is Bucky. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum and to your new addiction from the cooler part of AZ.  This place is full of information and cool ideas.

It sounds like you are on the right track. Look up the 5 day e-course. It is an excellent starting point on how to start smoking.

Awesome, thank you for the tip!
