New to smoking but not to eating!

My next door neighbor just bought a smoker and was using it the other day. I was mowing my yard and all I could smell was this Heavenly aroma. I almost went over and swiped his supper. I purchased my smoker
(Brinkman) yesterday and put it through a dry run tonight just to get the "NEW" smell out of it. I put in some hickory chunks and I tell you I was ready to throw on some ribs!! I have been all over the web looking for rubs, sauce recipes and general info, then found this site. I think everything I need is right here. Can't wait to start out doing the neighbor!
BTW, if you have questions, please ask away. You'll have the neighbor asking for your source in no time.

Where are you from?
Welcome my friend, from the best smokin' site on the net. Competition is ok with the guy next door, but every now & then trade off some tips. You'll both get more out of it. Don't forget to signup for Jeff's 5 day ecourse.
