Hi Everyone,

My name is Brad and I am from a small town in southern Alabama, Slocomb.  It's close to Dothan if any of you guys are familiar with the area.  I am 28 years old and I am an accountant at local firm in Enterprise, AL.  Just a little about myself - my wife and I enjoy music so we like to attend concerts when we can.  We like a little bit of everything.  Our most recent was Eric Church's 2 night tour closer in Nashville, which was awesome.  We also attend alot of Dave Matthews Band concerts as well.  I also am a huge Bama fan as you'd imagine (ROLL TIDE!!!).

As for smoking, my wife bought me a Weber Smokey Mountain smoker a little over a year ago for my birthday and I have been hooked ever since.  I shortly thereafter found this forum, and even though I have just now signed up as a member, I feel as though I know alot of the more frequent users of the forum as I have referenced it more times than you can imagine.  So for that, I want to thank you all for helping me get started on smoking with all the tips and awesome resources this forum provides.  I should have joined earlier, but better late than never.

I have kept my WSM pretty busy since I got it, smoking something almost every weekend.  My wife told me I need to calm it down a bit. I've smoked many things since I got my WSM, but as of a couple of hours ago I put on my first brisket.  I'm going to wrap in butcher paper in a few hours and take it to end.  Hoping it turns out well.

Again, I appreciate everyone's input into this forum.  By far, this is the best forum for smoking out there.

Cheers & Happy Smoking!

- Brad
