Hello Everyone,
I just stumbled across this forum today, it looked like a good place so I joined! No lurking here!
I have been smoking and grilling meats and other things for many years. In my spare time I put on BBQ's for my church and for the Boy Scouts. In fact, this past weekend myself and a couple other fellas smoked 300lbs. of beef ribs, and 100lbs. of pulled pork, along with the usual sides of coleslaw, beans and salad for about 300 Boy Scouts at a local camparee! those guys can sure put the food down.
I use to BBQ and sell to the public, but since I have a full time job and now have 3 children, I have pretty much stopped that now and I'm spending more time with the family! I have smoked on grills, stick burners, and electrics smokers. I make my own dry rub and BBQ sauce and pretty much stick with that. I have developed a pretty good knowledge over the years from smoking meats, but I do not profess that I even scratch the surface on knowing everything when it comes to smoking. I am always interested in others ideas and learning new things. I look forward to sharing with the members of this forum and also gaining more smoke knowledge from everyone.
