That is an absolute steal, assuming the buyer accepts MES electronics.

 .....      IMHO anyway.

But worst case, if electronics fail,  it's still a great price for future Aubering, with a bit of simple DIY rewiring, bypassing some stuff.

To the best of my knowledge, it IS insulated inside the wall cavity, as opposed to the Analogs.

I THINK, thats why they decresed the element W from 1500 (in "Analog s")

So, I don't don't know, does it still get as hot as an Analog in "typical" ambient temps for like even trying to crisp chicken or the like??

I have no idea.

I DO NOT know for sure, but from what I recall in my studies, it is the preferred Gen of MES's

Bearcarver ( or his previous posts) will be the primary answerer to that.

Found it - Here it is -

Folks - PLEASE- PLEASE  do not hesitate to correct me if I am wrong, it will help especially Newbie buyers readin this thread down the road.

Thank you Parrothead for the post,       Marc

I think this overall, is an excellent buy.

And if the electronics fail, and you add Auber,  or use w/o for the majority of stuff, or whatever, you still have a good chamber.

$ Bang for the Buck, even w/o the electronics.

You will need to do a bit of DIY rewiring to bypass the electronics if so.

A DIY guy, COULD also put in a 1500w , IF, Other than  "WE Don't Know" the Insulation is gonna be OK at like 400f or a bit higher.

If anybody can answer that specific issue, it would help.

I have not seen, in allll my reading, that issue addressed.

My thoughts as a Newbie,BUT one  that has done ALOTTTTT   of study.    Marc
