Hey SMF!
This Tim from Tulsa, OK.
I have been stalking SMF now for about a year and half now looking for anything from a good laugh to great advice on smokin' great food! While sitting here watching TBS roll out of my Landmann this morning load with Turkey, I was thinking about all the things I have been thankful for this last year(A great wife, 4 wonderful kids, good friends, my health, the freedoms I enjoy living in this great nation and the men and women who protect those freedoms, my health............etc......)this list can go on for hours!
Mostly I am thankful for the life that I have lived thus far and hope I get have many more early Thanksgiving mornings like this one anticipating my home filled with with the ones I love most gathered together to enjoy each others company, some of which I don't get to see but once a year or less, and share many tables of great food.
Oh, and to my point I just wanted to thank all of you here at SMF!!! Your advice here has helped me hone my skills at BBQ. I look forward to contributing my 2 cents worth when I dare and drooling on my keyboard looking at all the great BBQ porn you all post.
As for me, I grew up right here in green country (Northeastern Oklahoma) I have done everything from raise what we love to throw in our smokers and grills year round to butchering it and cooking it over the last 37 years. Oh and thanks to Grandma I have a huge love for baking as well. I have had a great love for cooking/baking/bbq from a young age thanks to family and friends.
I do my grilling and smoking on a Landmann Gasser, Char Griller Smokin Pro or a UDS.
I look foward to being and contributing to this great forum!!!
