Here is a subject I bet we never talked about.
Survival food and/or meats.
I'm not a preper or anything, but I do plan for the worst.
A year ago I started doing a little stocking upon survival food from "WISE", not a ton, just enough for an emergency. I choose them because, I found their meals to be very low in sodium, and they do tasted great.
Anyway, for some strange reason, I decided to a survival meal for dinner tonight, which I have done three other times, just for the hell of it, and I figured I would replace the meals early down the road.

So, with that being said, "Wise" survival meals taste dam good, I even tricked my wife one time with the soups.
She loves the soups that are ready hot, for carry out, at our supermarket.
So, substituted and 'Wise" soup one night for supermarket carry out, and she loved it, she never even knew until I told her.

So what for dinner tonight?

Sounds interesting, I never knew that those meals actually tasted good.
What is the shelf life of most of them.
Al

I think the shelf life is 30+ yrs.
Yah this brand taste pretty good, so good, I'm thinking on trying to fool my wife with a meal and see what she thinks without telling her what's going on.
I'll just tell her it's something I just threw together at the last minute.
