I have the GrillEye meat thermometer from Costco it came with 3 probes and was a really good price. I used it for about 15 smokes. The last 2 times I used it 1 probe would stop working proper during the smoke it would not read proper temp and sometimes jump up and down 50 degrees farenheit. Debating if I should return it and get a new one or just get my money back and buy a different brand. Anybody have one of these and do you have issues also or no issues at all.

grab an INKBIRD, I am still in the process of my build but reading all the reviews on the web and SMF it seems like you can’t go wrong. I grabbed one off amazon. i haven’t used mine yet but will be soon. I’m sure a lot more will reply to this as well.

I just saw that thermometer too at Costco and since it is a wifi one with 3 probes, that seems like a great price. Are you still having problems with it?

Everything is working fine now. I cleaned the probe ends with a soap scrub pad. Tested all 3 probes in boiling water and in ice water. All 3 are reading properly now. Used them about 4 more times on the smoker no issues. The blue tooth works very well. You can set alarms on your phone for temperatures also very good app. There is graphs for the temperatures during the cook also.

Started having issues with my grilleye again. Decided to return it to Costco. I purchased the Inkbird IBT-6XS with 6 probes and the Inkbird water proof cooking candy thermometer. Did first smoke with them today. Very nice thermometers.
