Been a little while since we had grilled chicken legs. My wife had picked up a nice package of young asparagus , Soooooo

We had picked the last of our Muscadine's and made jelly and had about a half a cup left over, so I said to myself "Self" BBQ/Muscadine glaze.

Note: For all you Yankee Boys (and girls) Muscadine's are a wild grapes that grow in the South
shopping

I seasoned the asparagus with EVOO and some Tony's the Chicken Legs the same

Thank you for looking

I did not know what muscadines are either. I love unique and wild fruit jellies. Dad has red currants and people lose their mind over his jelly. Very tart and unique. If I had access to any wild fruit I would be making jelly. Other stuff looks good too. :emoji_laughing:

HaHa---I knew what they are, because Gary told me about them, way back when he planted them.
This is the first I saw it used in a glaze, but it looks Awesome!!
Nice Job, Gary!

Well at least there is at least one smart yank so far.

Fine looking plate! Love asparagus and chicken legs. I know grape jelly can make a fine sauce so I’m sure that muscadine glaze was awesome.

Thank's everybody

Gary

Great looking plate of chow Gary. The only thing I can think to add to your meal is a piece of buttered toast, (Texas toast, of coarse), with your Muscadine jelly on top.
