Love the idea of a Blackstone or something similar but I have enough outside cooking appliances😂😂. Wife would not be thrilled with another big piece. So I went with an enameled cast iron griddle that I could put right on my Weber Summit. I liked the idea of enameled as I don’t want to maintain raw cast iron, I have enough cast iron pans that I deal with🤪🤪

I have made some great burgers on it already and some Salmon fillets that came out Awesome. Never did Steak on it yet so thought I would try a test today. A few burgers very plain for my wife and a couple of small Tri Tip steaks. For $80 I am pretty happy with how this works. Satisfies my need of a flat top with out another big piece of equipment. And it doesn’t rust but also is taking a nice seasoning as it is a matte enamel. Nothing is sticking.

Steak came out nice. Good crust compared to grill marks. Like done in cast iron pan. Burgers were tasty and still a little medium inside with a nice smash burger crispiness on the edges. Pretty happy with how the griddle is working out.

I've started putting my cast iron griddle on my grill too. I used to straddle two burners on my cook-top in the garage but after years realized I just cant situate ventilation the way I want in there.

I have an electric glass stove top and think it could work on that but I like it on the grill. Keeps grease splatter and cooking smells outside, Haha!! It is fun to use though!
