I've been using an old Brinkmann electric smoker for years. I know it's a super newbie smoker, but it works. I love smoking more than the grill or bbq because it's not something you have to babysit! I have a couple of questions to start my first post/introduction.
I have 3 fatties ready to go on the smoker in a couple of hours. How long to I need to cook these for? I've read 165 or so, but the fillings are not meat. Do I still need to get it to 165 internal temp? Also, I have no idea what my cooking temp is. My smoker is an old hand me down, but it's the same one you have purchase at Home Depot. Brinkmann electric. My second question is any idea what this smoker's cook temp is or how to measure it?
