Hello, all! I'm Jason and I live in Mechanicville, NY. It's basically between Albany and Saratoga Springs. I've been smoking meat for about 6 years now. Started with a Char Griller Duo with the added side fire box and the typical mods. After I got out the Army I gave it to a neighbor before moving to NY. I ended up buying a Brinkmann Trailmaster Limited and have used it quite a bit. After my last pork shoulder butt and having to constantly go out and play with the air damper and temperature swings, I threw in the towel and have officially gone electric. I just purchased a Masterbuilt 30" with bluetooth. I probably will never use the bluetooth feature as I got it mostly for the other updates it has inside. After I did a break in to remove machine oils, the next day I did a simple beer can chicken for about 5 hours and it was the best tasting one I've ever done. Been browsing this site for a while and figured it was time to start posting.
