Been smoking for several years on gas and offset charcoal/wood smokers( wore two of them out already) and decided it was time to try a different animal...a full blown smokehouse. After much research and weighing out the does and don'ts of others I decided to follow the old addage " famous last words...watch me"... The success has been overwhelming. Now it's time to continue learning and applying it to the craft. Look forward to input from all of you...

Welcome to the forum from central PA. Please post some pictures of your smokehouse when you get a chance.

Welcome from Central Pa

Nice lookin smokehouse.

SWEET!! Enjoy many great smokes. Should be long time before you wear out this one lol. I have a coworker that has a smokehouse and he runs his up only around 125F. Just thought would pass that along hope it helps. He also has sassafras growing wild around his place and uses that to smoke with. He dries it out first though.

Welcome to the SMF glad to have you on board. You just missed a PA Gathering just west of State College we had a great time. Sign on to the PA Group and look at the photos.
