Hi all, I am getting back into smoking after having taken several years off.  I am ironing the bugs out on a smoker I built from a restaurant holding oven that I found on craigslist for $100.  Thus far I have had test runs with a chicken, pork chops and a leg-o-lamb.  All were successful, but not perfect.  I actually raise sheep and this was from one of ours, albeit it was from before I moved here.  It is my aunt's place and I moved here to help out after her long-time boyfriend had a stroke, so I am an "accidental" sheep farmer.  Anyway, I have some experience with an old electric Brinkman back when I was in the Navy around the 2000's.  I got fairly good results back then, but have learned a ton through reading this forum.  Thanks to all whose builds and recipes I've been stealing knowledge from.

Thanks for the welcome all.  I updated my profile some, but lost my phone a while back and haven't been to the big city for a replacement, so I'll get some pics up eventually.
