Had some of the last Hatch peppers to make Eric's casserole again than decided on green chile stew as I not made this year. Based off of Carlo @tallbm recipe.

Eric got me hooked on Chimayo chili powder several years ago

These where some spicy hatch peppers. Stew was so good.

Got ABT's ready to grill on river this morning

4 lbs pork butt chunks.
3 Tbsp flour
6 Tomatillo
1 onion
1 Tbsp Chili Powder
1 tsp cumin
garlic chopped
1 bunch cilantro
4 large Hatch peppers I used several to use them up
1 can Rotel
I added a fresh tomato
4 cups chicken stock
1/2 Tbsp Vegeta Seasoning
black pepper

Looks darn good Brian. One thing I love about green chili, is everyone has a different recipe but they all seem to be great somehow. 👍
 
Lks great! I may have to make a version of it! Where do you buy the chili powder?
 
Looks really good! That's something I haven't made in a while. Probably pull out that recipe when it starts getting cooler.
 
I am 100% sure I have depleted all my frozen green chili. Thanks for the reminder to get on that!
 
That is a great looking meal, Brian.
Everything looks kiill'er, I would love a big bowl of that with some thick homemade Tortilla's.

I've never used the vegeta, I've seen it at the Mexican store though.
Gonna have to check it out, thanks for the tip.
