greasy chicken

why is it when I smoke a chicken it is always greasy. How can I keep this from happening. Any Ideas.

Probably has more to do with the quality of the bird rather then your method. Unless you are adding a lot of butter and oil to the bird?

How are you smoking it?? In a pan? On the grates? temp?

Hardly looks greasy off the smoker




After alittle time on the grill they do alittle.....but they were great
