Hello all,

I need to replace the element on my Brinkmann and would also like to help protect the new one once I install it.  I have searched around and I didn find one gentleman who used a "Pie Rack" to sit above the element and rock/brick but when I google "pie rack" I get a something that is 5 feet tall and sits in your kitchen.

Side note, I was thinking if I had a good rack, I could use a cast iron skillet to pitch chips into that would also help serve as a heat sink, any thoughts?

Thanks,

Joe
