Gordon Ramsey is well known for his rants and tirades on tv whether it be hells kitchen or kitchen nightmares. They show a bad side of him as far as I am concerned. What they do not show is his intense passion for food. Like my other favorite chef, Jamie Oliver, he focuses on fresh quality ingredients and good techniques in order to produce the best foods. This man has perfected the art of cooking.(well as close as someone can get) I just pre-ordered the book today. With the pre-order you can save around 37%. You have to order today for that discount though.

Below are the comments from amazon.com in reference to this book.

"Product Description
Gordon Ramsayâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s no-holds-barred television persona has garnered widespread attention both stateside and abroad, but his food continues to be his greatest achievement. His passion for fresh ingredients is fully apparent in this collection of fifty classic Ramsay recipes. Thanks Vlap, I will check it out.

I do not own any of his books but have watched him a few times on TV. He sure knows what he is doing....and I learn a few new words every time I watch.

I find it unfortunate he is so very well known for his temper. It takes away from the high quality of food he produces. Enjoy the book. I look forward to receiving my copy.

Temper maybe but i do think they edit the shows to exaggerate it.

He is at the top of his game and does not tolerate idiots, to even have the opportunity to work with the guy would be amazing, i think so many of the people he screams and shouts are are deserving most of the time. Many of the other shows he has done

One of my instructors when i did aerosapce engineering was the same, once he could see that you were listening and taking note and applying it he was much less agressive, out of all of my instructors i respect him the most as all he wanted was to train great engineers.

Looking fwd to the book :)

Jon.

Bet you're right Jon!
The man definately has talent and knows what he is doing. :) I just might have to buy this book.

I believe if you watch his show "F Word" you can get a better idea who the man is and his thoughts on food.

It usually airs sunday mornings on bbc america.

Yes, it's on primetime in the evening here in the UK when it's on.

I have the utmost respect for the guy, unfortunately i haven't had chance to eat at on of his restaurants YET, certainly in the F word he has challenged some boundaries but educated people on good food and ethical sourcing.

Jon.

He has a restaurant a few hours south of me. One of these days I want to head down there.
