We just have a small town Thrift Store. Never seen great cookbooks like that here.

Bummer! I probably have around 10 I’ve scored there over time. Just bought an amazing cookie cookbook for a Christmas gift too. Hardback looks never used. $1

Well I have been checking all the goodwill and thrift stores trying to find a Popover tin set . No luck on that but found couple ( well seen lots but looking only for Smoking and BBQing )
Found a couple books for $1.99 each and also a brand new Tortilla Press for $3.99 ( $ 25.99 on amazon ) I think a good score for these

Nice big Weber Book , there was a bigger one , but they wanted $2.50 for it . lol

Very good finds, used cookbooks are the best to me! Tortilla press looks interesting!

Thanks tbern, there was a discussion before about tortilla presses and I was going to make one like Rich chopsaw chopsaw made and showed.
But at this price how could I say no .

Damn David , that's nice . Great price . I was in a couple on Tuesday . Found some more Corningware . 6 bucks for 2 nice pieces .

Yes most times the books I get are almost new the splines don't even have a crease in them

Good score on the Corningware

But still looking for my popover tins, someday . But fun just to see what great finds there are.

The other thing I buy frequently at Goodwill is board games. It stinks when you pay $25+ for a game that sucks. I’ve grabbed many at Goodwill for $2-$3. If they suck I just re donate lol. We have a huge closet full and I’d say over half are from Goodwill.

Yeah . Depends on what they are or how bad you want them . The ones I posted the other day I see listed for around $25.00 . I have another one I paid 3 or 4 bucks for that I see multiple listings for $1400.00 .
Not sure what they sell for . They're nice for beans or keeping sauce warm . I wouldn't pay that for them either .

Some of those old Corningware actually do sell for those insane prices. I always am on the lookout for those.

Yup . When you see multiple listings for the same price , there's a reason for it .
Here's the one I see for $900.00 to $1500.00 . I don't remember exactly what I paid , but it was under 4 bucks .
Blue cornflower .

Those are nice . Is the Cornflower stamped on the bottom or just under the handels ?
