Here in cape town The  capital off the wine goring in South Africa.

we got lots of grapevines, i did not know if they are any good for smoking in my  search  i found this web site.

I would make sure that they are dry before you use them. As to how much to use, I don't know, I do know someone who uses grape wood, I'll ask if he has also used vines.
